He obtained his Fisheries Management Level 3 qualification from Hadlow College, laying the groundwork for a lifelong commitment to preserving aquatic ecosystems.
A Passionate Angler and Industry Professional
Josh’s journey into the world of fisheries began early, kindled by his passion for carp angling in both the UK (aged 6) and France (aged 16). His intimate connection with aquatic environments and hands-on experience as an avid angler has honed his understanding of the complexities within fisheries.

Having immersed himself in the fishing tackle trade from the age of 16, Josh brings industry experience to Capers Journal. His background, coupled with a deep-seated love for working outdoors with fishery owners and industry professionals, has shaped his unique perspective on
fishery management in the UK and more recently Europe working with some very well known fisheries and industry professionals.
